Girls Inc. of Metro Denver is proud to announce a new partnership with Denver Summit FC, the newest team in the National Women’s Soccer League (NWSL), to celebrate the club’s inaugural season to inspire the next generation of strong, smart, and bold girls.

As part of Women’s History Month and the kickoff to the inaugural season, we are thrilled to host a special volunteer event on March 21 at 10am to celebrate the achievements, leadership, and collective impact of women across Denver and beyond. The event is hosted in partnership with Girls Inc. of Metro Denver, Human Rights & Community Partnerships (HRCP), the Denver Mayor’s Office, the Denver Women’s Commission, and the Denver Summit FC.

The celebration will continue one week later when Girls Inc. of Metro Denver is recognized as the featured nonprofit partner at the Denver Summit FC home opener on March 28 at Empower Field at Mile High. With 50,000 tickets sold, Denver Summit FC will break the single-game NWSL attendance record for the club’s inaugural home match. We’re so excited to invite our families and supporters to this historic match and to celebrate the arrival of women’s professional soccer in Denver.

This partnership is about more than soccer—it’s about creating moments where girls can see what’s possible for their futures. I’m honored that our Girls Inc. community will get to celebrate this historic season with Denver Summit FC and experience such an exciting moment for women’s sports in our city.

Can’t get enough of Summit FC? Young players (ages 7-13) have the opportunity to join the Kickoff Youth Clinic at Infinity Park this Sunday March 22 to train where the pros do, get coached by Colorado Soccer Foundation Coaches, connect with Summit Staff, and become part of the history of Denver’s newest professional soccer team. The training will take place at Infinity Park from 12-2:30 PM. Every participant will receive fun, exclusive Denver Summit FC giveaways to commemorate the day!
