Summer Internship Program

We prepare girls for and provide paid internships, job shadows, and apprenticeships with community partners who fit their interests and aspirations.

Our Summer Internship Program offers high school students the opportunity to grow as young professionals. Throughout a number of trainings participants are inspired to be strong, smart, and bold! At Girls Inc. of Metro Denver we are committed to providing a comprehensive Girls Inc. experience where young people feel safe in a pro-girl, girl-centered environment. We provide exclusive opportunities for students to build their leadership skills, enhance their resume, and empower them within the community.

School Year Internships
10th and 11th Graders
Students can take their first step towards a successful career by joining our internship program, designed exclusively for high school students. Gain real-world experience through our paid summer internships and complete our comprehensive Career Readiness Training.
Summer Internships
9th-12th Graders
Students can participate in a paid internship with our Center Summer Programs! Join us and develop skills in leadership, communication, and problem-solving. Applications are due April 12th.

Must be going into high-school and older (High School Ages Seniors)

June 7th through July 25th. There will be shifts offered based on grade level operating Monday through Friday.

Yes, you will receive a stipend for your internship experience.

Early shift runs from 7:30am till 3:30pm. The late shift runs from 9:30am till 5:30pm. For this internship, you will work 16 hours per week. This would include an hour-long lunch and one additional 15-minute break.
