Teen Programs

Our Clayton expansion will provide more opportunities for our teen girls to thrive, build community, and create a new second home.

Monday Meet-Ups: All girls deserve a space to be heard, supported, and celebrated — especially at the start of the week.

Bring our teen girls together for a dedicated time to connect, recharge, and engage around the things that matter most to them. Whether we’re diving into a meaningful conversation, checking in on mental health and wellness, or exploring what’s happening in our clubs and community, Monday Meet-ups set the tone for a strong, smart, and bold week ahead. At Girls Inc. of Metro Denver, we believe that when girls show up for each other, incredible things happen — and Monday Meet-ups are where that sisterhood comes to life.

Summer 2026 Teen Camps

CTRL the Scroll
This four-day camp, running July 20–24 from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Girls Inc. of Metro Denver Clayton Campus, is open to girls entering 6th–9th grade. CTRL the Scroll: Beyond the Screen is a first-of-its-kind, play-based and evidence-informed program designed to help young people reclaim their time, attention, and emotions in today’s digital world. Through interactive sessions grounded in behavior science, mental health research, and feedback from young people themselves, participants will build healthier digital habits, strengthen emotional resilience, and learn practical strategies to navigate stress, comparison, FOMO, sleep challenges, and the pressures of an always-on online culture. By the end of the camp, girls will leave with the confidence and tools to approach technology with greater intention, balance, and self-awareness.
Lean In Girls
This four-day leadership camp, taking place August 10–13 from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Girls Inc. of Metro Denver Clayton Campus, is open to girls entering 6th–9th grade. Designed to introduce girls to a more expansive definition of leadership, the program celebrates the everyday ways girls are already leading in their schools, families, and communities. Through the Lean In Girls leadership curriculum, participants will build confidence, resilience, and inclusive leadership skills while challenging stereotypes about what girls can and cannot do. The camp emphasizes that leadership skills can be developed through practice and encourages girls to take positive risks, reframe failure as growth, and step into leadership on their own terms. By the end of the program, girls will leave empowered to embrace their unique leadership strengths and take meaningful action in their everyday lives.
Locs & Lessons Back-to-School Haircare Event
Join Girls Inc. of Metro Denver on August 22 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Clayton Campus for our annual Back-to-School Hair Care Event. Open to girls of all grade levels, this special event is designed to help girls head into the new school year feeling confident, cared for, and ready to shine. Professional hair appointments will be available for middle and high school girls, with stylists experienced in working with all hair types and textures. Because every girl deserves to know her crown is worth it, this event creates a welcoming space for self-care, confidence, and community before the school year begins. Appointment spots are limited, so registration is encouraged.
