About International Day of the Girl
Every October 11 is International Day of the Girl. This day focuses attention on the need to address the challenges girls face and to promote girls’ empowerment and the fulfillment of their human rights. At Girls Inc. of Metro Denver, we do this all year long, but this week is extra special because we’re partnering with local and women-owned businesses to amplify our work and invest in girls’ futures from October 5-11!
